The A1 that I Once Knew

They always said that memories expand in value exponentially through time.  It has been ten years since we first joined PANA after a botched attempt in 2002.

Through these times, I have always been with the best of the best in PANA and these came from A1.  As I look back at the various batches, there were people exemplified that I missed the most:

1.  The Camille Flores, Abe Mationg, Lyza Gutierez, Shami, Berl Bariata, Bianca Balandra, Tamara Reyes, Agot Ordonez and the similar likeness who have always made me assured that someone has my back.  And although they hardly tell me about this, I knew that they always had and that made me forever think fondly of these people.

2.  The Ysa Locsin who always toiled night until morning to singlehandedly finish the PANA materials.

3.  The Rhea Vicena - Mendiola, Pau Pau Lee, Sandee Lee, Jen Rivera, Kristal Estacio, Criselle Partosa, Luanne Yasay of A1s who always look up to you for anything they needed be it advise or some mundane chika moments but shared a huge part of their lives with me.  Although I shamelessly "ninja" during their most important days, they would always be one of the closest I would ever have.

4.  The Cara Santos, Bea Casal - who always reminded me that someday the young ones would recognize how relevant the experience is and will be for them. And these moments were usually during the grand finals.   The Val Guiua who mouths off once in a while and the Mich Mendoza who has always been a great backroom person.

5.  The Nicole Alfaro who did not blink to lend us a laptop 30 mins before the presentation because our equipments cannot run flash.

6.  The Gec Alcid who did set aside personal rifts in favor of bigger reasons.

7.  The Lyza Gutierez and the Jenika Diawan who would surprise you with a great video and the Gladys Loresco who just shined the brightest in our winning year.

8.  The Abe Mationg who would always "predict" that we will win and becomes a great reassurance.

9.  The Tamara Reyes, Eriza Reyes, Fran Chua who would work behind the scenes and yet does not yearn the limelight and still stood the proudest when their blockmates won.
