Are We Worth It?

This is officially three days before Interblock.

And like all of what we have done in the past, we are now scrambling for every last hour after our relaxing pace for the last 76 days. It is crunch time as we ask ourselves - are we worth to win the Interblock 2011 nonetheless PANA 2011?

PANA and Interblock Competition were always journey towards self discovery. In the last 150 days since the case was cascaded last April, what have we discovered?

What have we changed? Did we change at all?

PANA gets an average of 35 entries from universities and colleges all over the Philippines. Unless you are good enough, they only choose five among the lot to be finalist. To reach the top of that advertising and marketing contest against highly touted universities is no lame task.

Every year, as we celebrate our entry, 30 other finals hopefuls weep. This year is not an exception.

Are we just dribbling away an achievement in which to others is their dream come true?

Assumption College's PANA tradition has always been excellent. One championship, one 1st runner up finish and one 2nd runner up finish in all the 3 years they started to honor the top 3 entry aside from the champions.

In our last nine years, Assumption College was in the finals eight times, a track record no other university nor college can claim except for UP. We are always a perfect picture of consistency.

In our last nine years, our A1 would fight to achieve excellence that goes beyond the head of every prime school in this country. A1 would always set their sights on the level they were meant to be, the top. A1 would put the block above everyone else because they know that the struggles they have as one block will become the bond that won't ever break.

A1 always know that no matter the heights they have to climb, at the end it will all be worth it because they have done it together.

This year, we are marching towards the Interblock finals and PANA finals.

Are we ready?

Are we worth it?
